Jennifer Jurgens

With over 20 years in marketing and business management, Jennifer brings a unique skill set to Komen Michigan. Her work experience ranges from creating marketing (lead generation) campaigns and automated processes for Fortune 1000 companies and non-profit organizations to consulting for small and medium-sized businesses. Her specialties include CRM systems, direct marketing, marketing automation, and email and content marketing with expertise in the integration of new software platforms to expedite and simplify digital communications. Jennifer has worked for local organizations like Adtegrity.com, US Xchange, BDO Seidman and served on the boards of TEDxGrandRapids and AimWest.
As a breast cancer survivor, Jennifer brings her own life experiences in addition to her relevant professional work to Komen Michigan. Her public-speaking experiences range from explaining and teaching marketing and lead management best practices to professionals in large conference/corporate settings, to telling her own story in more intimate settings. In the role of Executive Director she is responsible for the overall management of the affiliate including the strategic direction and community partnerships that serve Komen’s mission of ending breast cancer forever.
Jennifer has a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University’s Eli Broad College of Business and a Master’s of Business Administration from Grand Valley State University. She lives in Spring Lake, Michigan with her husband Jim Conner and their two children.
