The Rotary Club of Grand Rapids Charities Foundation turns generosity into support for charitable, scientific, literary, and educational purposes. Through gifts, grants, and scholarships, the Foundation helps put Rotary’s commitment to service into action.
How the Foundation serves
The Foundation is organized and operated exclusively for charitable, scientific, literary, and educational purposes. It makes gifts, grants, and scholarships to organizations, trusts, funds, or foundations organized and operated for those purposes.
A special focus is placed on youth activities, environmental improvement, and other charitable endeavors promoted by the Rotary Club of Grand Rapids.
The Foundation is funded primarily by Rotarians. Each Rotarian is asked to contribute $100 annually as part of their membership in Rotary.
Partnerships with a shared purpose
Through the Foundation’s work, Rotarians partner with nonprofit organizations serving West Michigan. The organizations represented below reflect the partnerships highlighted by the club.
