7.20.17 – Jason Meyer

Jason Meyer is currently the President and CEO at Blandford Nature Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan. With a background in conservation, environmental education, and nonprofit management, he brings a diverse set of skills and experiences to the profession. Over the past several years, Jason has led two nature centers in Michigan – Fenner Nature Center in Lansing, where he coordinated the transition of a city-owned nature center to nonprofit management and Blandford Nature Center, where his largest accomplishments are, so far, guiding the organization through a $10.3 million campaign and, separately from that campaign, the acquisition of the former Highlands Golf Club.

Jason was recognized by the Association of Nature Center Administrators as the inaugural Outstanding New Leader Award recipient in 2014 and was a finalist for the 2015 Exemplary Executive Award through the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Grand Rapids.
