Volunteers Needed for Post-Parade Gathering
Honor the Greatest Generation by joining us this Labor Day as we kick off a week-long Greatest Generation Celebration, marking the 80th anniversary of the end of WWII. The morning begins with an Honor Parade in Downtown Grand Rapids, and we are seeking Rotary volunteers to assist with a post-parade gathering near the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum.
Volunteer responsibilities include:
- Helping parade participants navigate to the post-parade area
- Ensuring our Greatest Generation guests are supported and cared for
- Securing access points, so only parade participants receive food and drink
- Answering general questions and offering friendly assistance
