12.13.18 – Baird Hawkins

Baird is the founder of Interfuse Capital LLC, a private investment company that identifies and funds opportunistic and distressed commercial real estate throughout the U.S.  Baird also acts as a consultant to CRE investors, developers, and family offices.

Interfuse Capital LLC is a leader in alternative investment strategies, capital raises, private equity and structured capital for commercial real estate investment.

Locally in association with Guy Bazzani, Baird has focused on neighborhood re-development projects to reposition older commercial buildings with new investment.  This urban revitalization strategy enables investors to improve returns while building sustainable communities.

In this capacity, he co-developed the Kingsley Building project in Eastown. He also secured historic building status for the Kingsley Building (originally the Grand Rapids Storage & Van Co.) with its addition to the National Register of Historic Places.
