SUMMARY:Volunteer Opportunity
DESCRIPTION:We have a wonderful and fulfilling opportunity to continue supporting our partnership with Disability Advocates of Kent County. On Friday\, May 19th\, from 9am until done (Possibly two shifts and lunch will be provided) at 2640 Woodward SW\, Grand Rapids\, we will build a wheelchair ramp for a 5 year old boy with Cerebal Palsy\, allowing him increased and unfettered access to his home. \nThese projects are some of the best and most impactful things our club does\, so please come join us. \nThe Community Engagement Committee is looking for 4 to 6 volunteers to join the build under the supervision of a licensed and experienced contractor. No construction expertise is necessary. While not mandatory\, if the volunteers have drills they are encouraged to bring them. \nPlease contact me at rjeliassen@gmail.com or 616-406-7398 at your earliest convenience if you can participate.
