On Monday November 28th, Rotarians and students, volunteered to help Feeding America West Michigan distribute food to about 100 families at Union High School.
These are mainly families of students at Union High School, and many face tough choices every week. Decisions like getting groceries or paying the rent, or medicine or utilities.
The Mobile Food Pantry truck arrived at Union High School, 1800 Tremont Boulevard NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504, around 3:30pm, and the Rotarians and students helped setting up and preparing the food for distribution which began 4:00pm.
